Polar Vortex Bringing Above Average Temperatures to Rockwell?

Strong March Polar Vortex?
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) describes polar vortexes as a low-pressure area, a wide expanse of swirling cold air, that is parked in polar regions. During the winter, the polar vortex at the North Pole expands, sending cold air southward. According to the NOAA, there will be a strong polar vortex this March that will bring higher than average temperatures to North Carolina and most of the United States.
March is one of the wettest months in North Carolina, bringing an average of 4.1 inches of rain each year. SERVPRO® of North Rowan County/Salisbury responds to storm damage emergencies throughout the year in Rockwell, and we offer 24-hour emergency service because we know that every minute counts when dealing with storm damage, and fast response and mitigation often minimizes the extent and cost of the repair.
